WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of armor or weapons. However, the item used to upgrade will be consumed forever and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities and can be visited anytime to upgrade your gear. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each couple of weeks.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item, however, they are always cheaper than buying new equipment. For example upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points while purchasing the same item from a different player will cost 105.

Upgrades are useful items which can be used to improve the quality of weapons tools, armor, and accessories. They can be purchased from item upgraders NPCs for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be applied to any weapon or tool with an button, which displays an image of the item when it is upgraded in the event that the player has enough materials.
