Goethe-Zertifikat Zasady Egzaminu A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below outlines the time slots that are reserved - not confirmed exams. Please confirm with your instructor whether or not your course will be taking its final exam in this period.

Make sure you read the Goethe exam rules and guidelines on each exam's webpage prior to you register. Also, make sure you make sure you register at the correct exam level.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Please visit the individual exam pages for additional information regarding exam content, exam terms and conditions, and additional guidelines. If you require special accommodations due to a chronic illness, hearing or visual impairment, you should contact the exam provider directly and make sure to provide a detailed document when you register.

Faculty may find their exam times by using the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. For Egzamin Na Kategorię A1 evening classes, final exams are scheduled at the normal class time during the final exam week.

Registration

The exam schedule is available online, and students are encouraged to look it up. It is important to note that the final schedule of exams can be altered at any time. Students should therefore inquire with their instructors to confirm the correct date and time of their test. Students should also be sure to print the official list and bring it to their exams.

In addition to the exam schedule, students should also familiarize themselves with the exam guidelines, the terms and conditions. These are available on the individual exam page. Upon registration, students acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.

Exam sites try their best to accommodate students with special requirements. The nature and degree of these needs should be noted on the registration form and verified by an attestation of a doctor. The locations of the exam must adhere to confidentiality.

If a student is scheduled to take three tests on the same day, they must contact their instructor or department to schedule a make-up test. Although it is possible to take three exams in one day, it can cause an increase in stress levels and impact the quality of the exam. The professor might not be able to give an additional test to make up for the missed day.

Before taking the exam Students must prepare for the exam by studying their course material and practice their German skills. The exam is a paper-based test that assesses the ability to speak, read and write in German. The results of the examination are presented using a scale ranging from A1 to C2. Students who pass the test are awarded a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies the that they have achieved the level of A1 in their language. This level corresponds to the initial stage of the six-level scale of competence outlined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The test is free. Students must bring a valid government-issued ID to the test. If they do not present an ID with a valid photo are disqualified from the examination.

Fees

If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to obtain a Goethe-Zertifikat wydawanie prawa jazdy a1 (start German 1), you'll need to pay the exam fee. This is in addition to the course fee.

Practice assessments provide you with an overview of the format of the questions, their wording and the level of questions on the exam. They allow you to assess your proficiency, identify gaps in knowledge and improve your chances of passing the test.

Please take note that the exam fee is not refundable. Exam results can only be accessed via email, not via telephone.
